The date was moved to the more traditional Abingdon May slot for 2023, which it retains for 2024. As well as flying and static displays, expect live music, local crafts, vintage and classic vehicles. |

A three-day D-Day Commemoration. At North Weald airfield there will be a fleet of Dakotas and other period aircraft (see the D-Day 80 web site for more details). Over some of the 3-days of the show visitors will be able to tour the aircraft, watch aircraft movements, parachutists emplaning for their jumps & aircraft returning; meet the crew and enjoy 1940s style entertainment, traders and reenactors. There will also be a large number of military vehicles. The vehicles will be setting off on the morning of June 2nd, in convoy to Cherboug, the next stop on the commemorations. The aircraft will leave later on the same day. This is essentially a ground show. There will be aircraft and vehicle movements at some times on some days, but not necessarily on all days and there will be no air displays as such. B49 5NJ | Friday evening 'Nightfire' is a combination of a dusk aerobatic air display with lighting and pyrotechnics and a ground-based hot air balloon glow. Over the whole weekend expect vintage aircraft, aerobatics and other air displays. Although the event is being held at Ragley Hall, it is not organised by them, so please do not direct enquiries to the Hall.

June 1 - 2 (TBC) | English Riviera Airshow Paignton Torbay Devon TQ4 6AG | In 2020 the Torbay Airshow became 'The English Riviera Airshow' and was to return in 2021 for a fifth year after 2020's cancellation. However, uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 forced a second cancellation. The rebranded show did launch in 2022 with four days of events, although there is only flying over the weekend. The two-day weekend seaside show with the new branding returned in 2023 and the organisers say it will be back in 2024 but the return, and the dates, are not absolutely confirmed yet. The show is based over the sea at Paignton and the ground events are centred on Paignton Green. An 'event village' offers stalls, music, food and fair rides. |

The airfield will host a fleet of Paratrooper-carrying C-47s, which will depart Upottery Airfield and cross the English channel to drop parachutists over Normandy. Visitors can witness parachute training drills, parachute packing, living history and vehicle displays and encampments, visit the Airfield’s Heritage Centre as well as browse militaria and food stalls before watching over 100 round canopy parachutists board the fleet of C47 Aircraft. See the D-Day 80 web site for more details. This is essentially a ground show, not an airshow. There will be aircraft movements at some times but there will be no air displays as such. |
