The Battle Proms Concerts have been running since 1997 and attract 40,000 visitors every year.
This longest running 'picnic proms' series features a 2-hour orchestral programme within the unique atmosphere of stately homes in Lincolnshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire and Herefordshire.
Although there is less flying than, for example, the Shuttleworth Collection's evening music airshows at Old Warden, the additional entertainment is spectactular, including cannon fire, Napoleonic Cavalry Display, evening gun salute and firework finale.

It is best to book as far as possible in advance. This is not only because nearby hotels and guest houses tend get booked up well before the date of an airshow but also because prices can be better when you book early online.
There are plenty of booking agencies. We find that many of the well known ones are better at finding hotels from international or larger UK chains and may suggest hotels in main towns or cities quite a distance from the show site.
There is a Premier Inn hotel in ** about 5 miles away.
There is a Travelodge ** in ** and there are another two within about ** miles of the show.
