A fault has been found on a BBMF Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, so the BBMF has paused all flying with aircraft that use Merlins: the Lancaster, Spitfires and Hurricanes until the issue is resolved. They will not be at Armed Forces Day Events.

A Messerschmitt Me262, the first operational jet-powered fighter in aviation history, is due to fly on the Sat & Sun of this year’s RIAT.
