A relaxed and friendly show. One of the first shows of the year so expect the first public display of new teams, new personnel, new paint schemes etc. But for the same reason you have to be prepared to be flexible in case not all the certification, such as Public Display Authorities, are in place.

Also expect music, local crafts, tanks, vintage and classic vehicles; steam; the Portsmouth model boat display team; military and civilian static aircraft, as well as fly-in and displays of modern and vintage planes.

The show is expected to feature a gathering of the Gazelle Squadron of at least six and possibly as many as fifteen Gazelle helicopters. There will also be at least 2 tethered balloons (weather permitting).

Unfortunately, the Sea Vixen will not appear as planned because of late-running essential work to the engine and associated repairs.

Tickets are on sale now at a very low price of just £12 for an adult (16 or older), £8 for a senior (65+) or £4 for a child (5-15)
