On the Friday evening expect 'Nightfire', a combination of a night time aerobatic air display with lighting and pyrotechnics and a ground-based hot air balloon glow.

Over the weekend expect vintage aircraft, aerobatics and other air displays.

Although the event is being held at Ragley Hall, it is not organised by them, so please do not direct enquiries to the Hall.

In 2020 the Torbay Airshow became 'The English Riviera Airshow' and was to return in 2021 for a fifth year after 2020's cancellation. However, uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 forced a second cancellation. The rebranded show now hopes to launch in 2022.

National Armed Forces Day

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that Scarborough will now host the prestigious Armed Forces Day National Event in 2022.

Scarborough always holds a successful celebration of the Armed Forces and in 2022 will host the National Armed Forces Day event. Expect a formal parade and airshow.

The biggest aircraft trade show in the UK is held once every two years. The first few days are trade days but Friday has special features for younger people and is open to the public. There used to be a family airshow on the Saturday and Sunday, but this element of the show was cancelled in 2020.

Previously a one-day show, it has been held over 2 days since 2013. For 2021 it had been stretched to three days but reverted to two and reamins a two-day show for 2022.

An exciting mix of warbirds and civilian aircraft; classic and military vehicles; tank rides; re-enactors; bands; food village; funfair; helicopter rides and flying experiences.

Tickets should be on sale from December 2021.

The Abingdon Air and Country Show retains the September slot introduced in 2021. Although there may be an emphasis on helcopters, the show has tended to retain its mixture of all types..
