Dawlish Air Show

When they cancelled the 2016 show, the organisers of Dawlish airshow said they were taking a break, not finishing for good, and that they hoped to be back in 2017. The Farnborough Airshow is held once every 2 years. The next show dates are July 16 - 22 2018, July 20 - 26 2020, and July 18 - 24 2022

Great Yarmouth Airshow

A new airshow was to have been launched in June 2017, destined to be the biggest single event in East Anglia. It was cancelled in January because of the anticipated cost of anti-terrorism and medical cover.

Shoreham Airshow

The show was cancelled for a second year running following the tragic accident in 2015 involving Hawker Hunter T7 pending consideration of the outcome of the AAIB review into the incident and consequential changes to regulations.

In 2016 the BBMF and Red Arrows flying displays were cancelled because the organisers were not able to implement some of the Safety Action Points. The Regatta went ahead on 18th - 21st August 2017 but without flying displays.

Wirral Air Show

This new free airshow was to have been held in 2016, but the local authorities said official arrangements had not been agreed in time so the show could not go ahead. The organisers promised a show in 2017. However the local authority confirmed that no application to stage a show in 2017 was been made. The airshow web site now belongs to an Asian finance company and the show's Facebook page has been closed.
